El Fath Group is the exclusive agent in Egypt for Growel — the global giant of electroplating and surface treatment chemistry. Growel has been a trendsetter in the general metal finishing industry and a formidable player in the field of electroplating & specialty chemicals and engineering equipment.

In 2005 Growel ventured into real estate development and built a sprawling 475,000 square foot shopping centre in the western suburbs of Mumbai. In 2007, with the addition of protective coatings and industrial lubricants to its manufacturing foray, Growel became a one-stop solution provider for the protection of all types of substrates across the various industrial segments.

Growel’s chemical & paint division is IMS (Integrated Management System) certified. It is also the first chemical company in India to have received the coveted AS9100 aerospace certification, established by the aerospace industry, demonstrating its ability to satisfy DOD, NASA and FAA quality standards.

EPP Coatings

EPP Coatings is dedicated to the production of specialty electrophoretic lacquering processes and solutions for the entire metal finishing industry worldwide.

The LacKote series is a cathodically electro-deposited polymer system for decorative and functional coating technologies, which are environmentally friendly. The product utilises proven polyurethane/acrylic based chemistry for maximum durability and stability, and offers the user superior resistance to aggressive acidic and perspiration environments through advanced polymer engineering and improved solvent resistance.

When fully cured the product becomes a tough polyurethane system with excellent hardness, ultraviolet, solvent and wear resistance, in addition to chemical resistance to both acid and alkali environments. It is applied to zinc die-cast, brass, copper, bronze, chrome, aluminium and stainless steel at low voltage, producing minimal waste products.
