Baths & tanks
Polypropylene, PVC and lined steel process tanks built to the duty of each stage in the cycle.
We conceptualise, design, manufacture and install a wide range of surface finishing systems, tailor-made to meet the specific requirements of every industry — from fully automatic, to semi-automatic, to manually operated versions.
We specialise in the design and manufacture of surface finishing systems dedicated virtually to the entire range of metal finishing processes. Our products encompass a wide range of plants and equipment from fully automatic, to semi-automatic, and manually operated versions.
The engineering division offers comprehensive solutions to all the fields of plating application technology, including material handling, auxiliary equipment, water treatment and effluent treatment plants.
Automatic rack plating plant
Process tanks under installation
El Fath conceptualises, designs, manufactures, supplies and installs state of the art rack plating plants to suit various processes. In rack plating the component is fixed to a frame or jig called the rack. The rack, and hence the process tank, can be designed in various sizes depending on the type of component to be finished and the volume of production. Our plants are highly customisable depending on the customer’s requirement.
El Fath conceptualises, designs, manufactures, supplies and installs top of the line barrel plating plants to suit various processes. Barrel plating is widely employed for bulk processing of small to medium sized components. The components are placed in an apparatus called the barrel, which then passes through the different chemical baths to complete the surface finishing process.
These barrels consist of an electrical contact called the dangler which helps in passing DC current. The selection of articles for barrel plating is limited by their size, shape and weight. The barrels are usually constructed using a non-conductive material, and the barrel body has perforations which help to attain a uniform finish. Our plants are highly customisable depending on the customer’s requirement.
Plating plant installation
We supply all equipment, tanks and accessories of the electroplating line — as part of a new plant, or as spares and upgrades for a line already running.
Polypropylene, PVC and lined steel process tanks built to the duty of each stage in the cycle.
Titanium, quartz and PTFE immersion heaters with control for every process stage.
Titanium and steel anode baskets, with bags and covers that keep anode sludge out of the electrolyte.
Continuous filtration sized to bath volume — the single most effective cure for roughness and pitting.
Ultra-filtration for electrophoretic lacquer and closed-loop rinse recovery.
Air and water cooled DC rectifiers, including pulse and periodic-reverse options, sized per tank.
Metering pumps for automatic brightener and additive replenishment — the route to a stable bath.
Hot air and centrifugal dryers for rack and barrel work.
A plating shop does not end at the dryer. We offer comprehensive solutions to all the fields of plating application technology.
Transporters, hoists and programmed handling that move the load through the cycle to a controlled dwell time.
Demineralised water and rinse circuits designed to cut drag-out — the largest hidden cost in any shop.
Reduction, precipitation and separation — so the shop discharges compliant, with no surprises.
One process that ends with a working line, the chemistry that runs through it, and someone to call.
The component, the substrate, the finish, the throughput, the floor space and the specification that has to be met. This conversation determines everything after it.
Stage sequence, tank volumes, anode and current distribution, rinse strategy and level of automation — all settled before any steel is cut.
